2020 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Design

There is little doubt that the Corvette ZR1 has an exotic look. The 2019 Corvette ZR1 has an exotic look, so do its predecessors. In terms of look, the ZR1 trim looks quite different from the other trim levels. This is all thanks to its massive supercharger at the front, a hole in its hood, and side wings. All these make the ZR1 looks exotic and very supercar. We expect the 2020 Corvette ZR1 to inherit most of these features.

In terms of comfort, we can expect the upcoming Corvette ZR1 to be a comfortable supercar to drive. While the Corvette ZR1 is known to be a lineup of very fast supercars, that doesn’t mean comfort is neglected. On the contrary, so far the lineup has come with terrific seats and steering wheels. Being a successor of the lineup, the 2020 Corvette ZR1 should be at least as comfortable as the current model.

There is also the fact that the Corvette ZR1 is the flagship model. Due to this, it is expected to have lots and lots of high quality and luxurious features. The current model comes with soft-touch materials, high-quality switchgear, and well-bolstered, comfortable seats, among others. There is no reason the upcoming Corvette ZR1 to not come with these features.

Engine Specs

The current Corvette ZR1 is powered by a 6.2-liter, V8 engine. This engine is capable of delivering up to 755 horsepower with up to 715 lb-ft of torque. That is an impressive figure for a supercar. For the transmission, both manual and automatic are available. Buyers can decide whether they want to pair the powerful V8 engine with a seven-speed manual or an eight-speed auto transmission gearbox.

What about the 0 to 60 mph time? The engine can reach 60 mph from idle in a mere 2.85 seconds. Not only that, but the engine is also capable of reaching 100 mph from idle in 6 seconds, and finish a quarter-mile dash in just 10.6 seconds. Yes, the current ZR1 is so fast.

That is the engine of the current Corvette ZR1. What about the upcoming 2020 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1? We expect it to have at least the same engine as the 2019 Corvette ZR1. That said, don’t be surprised if the engine is tweaked and become more powerful. It is, after all, a flagship supercar.

Features

Since the ZR1 is the highest trim level, it comes with many features. Of course, this should apply to the 2020 ZR1 as well. The question is, what kind of features will come with? At the moment, there is no real answer to that as there is no official information about features yet.

Although there isn’t any official information yet, we can expect the new ZR1 to come with features such as two HD color displays, a Bose audio system, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a front camera, Performance Data Recorder, heated and ventilated seats, and many more.

2020 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Release Date and Price

Not much is known about the release date and the price of the upcoming Corvette ZR1. A report suggests that it will enter production late this year. Since it is meant to be a 2020 model year, it should be released in early 2020 or mid-2020 at the latest.

Chevrolet hasn’t announced the complete pricing of the upcoming Corvette, let alone the Corvette ZR1 trim level. While there isn’t any information regarding the price, the price of the new Corvette ZR1 shouldn’t be too different from the price of the 2019 Corvette ZR1. We expect it to have a starting price of over $120,000.

So far, these are what we know about the upcoming 2020 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1. For now, we don’t know that much about it but soon, we will. It is meant to be a 2020 supercar, so Chevrolet will showcase it later on. What do you think? Are you interested in the new Corvette ZR1 that will come soon?
